Recently, our Institute's Dean, Academician Hong Minghui, was awarded the "2023 Editorial Board Contribution Award" by the editorial department of "Engineering," the flagship journal of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. This recognition acknowledges his significant contributions as an editorial board member in the field of mechanical and vehicular engineering, which has enhanced the academic influence of the journal.
"Engineering," established by the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015, is a comprehensive journal of engineering technology. It aims to provide a high-level platform for the publication and exchange of significant engineering technology achievements, discuss hot and challenging issues in the development of engineering technology, and look forward to the future of engineering technology to promote faster development, better benefit humanity, and create a better future. Since its inception, it has been included in international authoritative retrieval systems such as SCI, EI, Scopus, DOAJ, CSCD, and CSTPCD. The proportion of international editorial board members exceeds 50%, the proportion of overseas or international collaborative articles exceeds 50%, and the international citation ratio of the journal reaches 69%. According to the latest "Journal Citation Reports" released by Clarivate Analytics, "Engineering" has an impact factor of 12.8 in 2022, ranking second among 90 global engineering comprehensive field journals; the journal citation index JCI (3.06) ranks first among 178 global engineering comprehensive field journals.
