Recently, the editorial department of Ultrafast Science, a sub-journal of Science, has selected the Outstanding Editorial Board Members and Outstanding Reviewers for the year 2022-2023. Our Dean, Academician Hong Minghui, has been honored as an "Outstanding Editorial Board Member" (one of only 26 globally), highlighting our institute's academic contributions and influence in top-tier international journals.
Ultrafast Science, established in June 2021, is a sub-journal of Science and a high-starting point new journal under the Chinese Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan. The chief editors are Academician Gong Qihong and Researcher Zhao Wei. The journal primarily publishes new theories, technologies, and advancements in the field of ultrafast science research, promoting academic exchanges, facilitating the transformation of research outcomes, and enhancing China's research capabilities and international influence in this field. Since its inception, it has been included in important databases such as Scopus, Inspec, ADS, DOAJ, and CNKI Scholar. With a CiteScore of 12.4 from Scopus, it has garnered widespread attention both domestically and internationally.
