Our Institute's Dean, Academician Hong Minghui, has been honored as an Outstanding Editorial Board Member of the 2023 edition of the Nature journal, "Light: Science & Applications".

Recently, our Institute's Dean, Academician Hong Minghui, received the prestigious title of "Outstanding Editorial Board Member of 2023" from the editorial board of the Nature journal "Light: Science & Applications" (hereinafter referred to as Light), highlighting the academic contributions and international impact of our Institute in top-tier journals. Light, overseen by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and hosted by the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the first fully peer-reviewed, fully open-access English international optics journal published in China in collaboration with Springer Nature. Launched in March 2012, Light has been included in various domestic and international databases such as SCI, Scopus, DOAJ, Ei, PubMed, CSCD, and CSTPCD. It has been selected twice among the top 100 science and technology journals in China and has been rated as China's most internationally influential academic journal for five consecutive years. In 2021, its impact factor reached 20.257, ranking 3rd among 101 international optics journals (JCR 2021) and placing it in the top 4 of international optics journals. As a leading journal in the field of international optics, it has a broad influence both domestically and internationally.
