Congratulations! Our institute achieved outstanding results in the finals of the 6th China Graduate Student Robotics Innovation Design Competition
From October 23-26, 2024, under the guidance of the Department of Degree and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, the 6th China Graduate Student Robotics Innovation Design Competition, also known as the "Shen Hao Cup," was hosted by the China Association for Degrees and Graduate Education, the China Association for Science and Technology Youth Science and Technology Center, and co-organized by the Organization Department of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee, Shenyang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Intelligent Robotics Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, the Robotics Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Robotics Professional Committee of the Chinese Astronautical Society, the Robotics Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, and the Symbiotic Robotics Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation. The national finals were held in Shenyang.

After fierce competition, our institute's participating teams won four third prizes for their projects: "Multi-nozzle Additive Manufacturing Equipment for Myocardial Tissue Chips," guided by Sun Daoheng and He Gonghan; "Tandem-Parallel Coupled Multi-Gait Earthworm-like Robot for Confined Spaces," guided by Liu Yu; "Intelligent Multimodal Motion Dielectric Driven Crawling Robot," guided by Wu Dezhi and He Gonghan; and "Broadband High-Sensitivity Flexible Tactile Sensor for Robotic Perception," guided by Zhang Jinhui. Additionally, for outstanding organization, our institute was awarded the "Outstanding Organization Award."
A total of 1,200 teams from 186 graduate student training institutions participated in this competition, with 1,081 entries. Ultimately, 326 teams from 93 graduate student training institutions were selected for the finals. Under the guidance of the Graduate School, the Sa BenDong Micro-Nano Science and Technology Research Institute took on the organization of the school's participation in this competition: discovering, nurturing, and selecting multiple projects across the university. In the preliminary stage, our school had 13 teams composed of more than 60 teachers and students from units such as the Sa BenDong Micro-Nano Science and Technology Research Institute, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the School of Ocean and Earth Sciences; after the national preliminary competition review, 4 teams advanced to the national finals.
