Educational Background


- Graduated from South China University of Technology in June 2010 with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation.

- Conducted joint doctoral studies at the Wu XiangMing Advanced Manufacturing Center, University of Michigan, from November 2008 to November 2009.

- Served as a postdoctoral fellow (lecturer) at the School of Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University, from July 2010 to September 2012.

- Invited for short-term academic exchanges at City University of Hong Kong in 2013 and 2015.

- Joined the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Xiamen University, in December 2012.

- Promoted to Professor in August 2016.

Serves as a member of the Engineering Faculty of Xiamen University, Director of the Fujian Precision Manufacturing Technology Development Base, Deputy Director of the Fujian Micro-Nano Manufacturing Engineering Technology Research Center, Executive Director of the Fujian Mechanical Engineering Society, Chair of the Organizing Committee of the 2021 IEEE NEMS International Conference, Executive Chair of the 4th Intelligent Energy Four Seasons Forum, and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Mechanical Engineering, etc.


Research Projects:

In recent years, a significant amount of basic and applied research has been conducted in the fields of functional microstructure manufacturing, precision manufacturing technology, efficient hydrogen production technology, microchannel reactors, hydrogen fuel cells, loop heat pipes/heat exchangers, intelligent cutting tools, intelligent sensors, etc. He has presided over or completed more than 50 projects, including the National Key Research and Development Plan, National Regional Innovation Joint Fund Key Support Project, National Distinguished Young Fund/Excellent Young Fund/General Project/Youth Fund/Emergency Management Project, Fujian Province Science and Technology Major Project, Fujian/Guangdong Province Distinguished Young Science Fund, Guangdong Province Regional Joint Fund Key Project, Xiamen City Major Science and Technology Project, and commissioned projects from state-owned large enterprises such as CRRC Corporation, Sinopec, Xiamen Tungsten, and Xiamen Golden Dragon Group.
